JUNIORS
The Next Generation of Oxford Ice Hockey
The Oxford Junior Stars Ice Hockey Club provides young players with the opportunity to learn, develop and enjoy ice hockey in Oxford.
Welcoming boys and girls of all abilities, the Junior Stars provide a pathway for players from their first experience of ice hockey through to competitive junior hockey and, ultimately, towards the senior game.
What's on Offer?
For children new to the sport, the Learn to Play programme provides a structured introduction to ice hockey, beginning with the essential skating skills before progressing to puck control, passing and shooting.
Players can then progress into the Junior Stars' age-group teams, with the club offering competitive hockey from U10 through to U19.
The emphasis is not simply on developing better hockey players. Oxford Junior Stars aims to provide a fun and supportive environment in which young people can develop teamwork, confidence, persistence and a love of the game.
